- עֲרָבִיor עַרְבִי m. (b. h.) Arab; Arabian. Yeb.71a לאיתויי ע׳ מהול to include a circumcised Arab (as forbidden to partake of the Passover meal); a. fr.Pl. עַרְבִיִּים, עַרְבִיִּין. Ohol. XVIII, 10 אהלי הע׳ the tents of the (nomadic) Arabs. Kel. XXIV, 1, v. דִּיצָה; a. fr.Fem. עֲרָבִית or עַרְבִית; pl. עַרְבִיּוֹת. Sabb.VI, 6 ע׳ יוצאותוכ׳ (Jewish) Arabian women may go out (on the Sabbath) veiled.
